It is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, emergency guidance, or a substitute for care from a qualified healthcare professional. Always use your own judgment and seek appropriately licensed care for medical concerns.
3. Independent professionals
Professionals, spas, wellness centers, organizations, and contributors listed on The Nutrient are independent parties. A listing, verification label, article, recipe, feature, or paid placement does not constitute a guarantee, medical endorsement, or promise of results. Users are responsible for evaluating qualifications, licensing, insurance, suitability, and services before engaging a provider.
4. Accounts and eligibility
You must provide accurate information, keep credentials secure, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. You may not impersonate another person, create deceptive listings, bypass security controls, or use another user’s account. We may require additional verification before publishing or featuring a listing.
5. Listings, website links, and paid placement
Basic listings may include a profile and website link. Paid or featured services may provide additional visibility or features. Payment does not guarantee traffic, inquiries, clients, rankings, revenue, verification, or continued publication. Sponsored or promoted placement may be identified where appropriate.
6. Contributor content
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant The Nutrient a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, format, display, distribute, promote, and make technical adaptations to that content for operating and marketing the Service. You represent that you have the necessary rights and that your content is accurate, lawful, and does not violate privacy, intellectual-property, advertising, or professional-practice requirements.
7. Prohibited content and conduct
- False credentials, misleading health claims, or deceptive testimonials.
- Unlawful, dangerous, abusive, discriminatory, infringing, or fraudulent material.
- Malware, scraping, unauthorized access, spam, or interference with the Service.
- Content that promises guaranteed health outcomes or improperly discourages appropriate medical care.
- Use of directory information for unauthorized bulk marketing or surveillance.
8. Review, moderation, and removal

We may restrict or terminate access when needed to protect the Service or its users, address violations, respond to legal requirements, or prevent misuse. Users may stop using the Service at any time.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be handled in a court of competent jurisdiction in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
